Anybody else blindsided by this?
I work in the live performing arts. Our industry fell off a cliff in mid-March 2020 and we’re looking at being lucky to open at all, let alone the fact that we’ll be last to do so.
Although 2020 is certainly not a distant memory by any means, 2021 is now here, allowing us to take a breath and think about what we want to do next - not necessarily what we were going to do then, but what we can and are going to do now. At the start of 2020, I likened thinking about the future of arts and culture as “trying to smell the colour 9”. We’re coming away from that, I think. Small steps, but steps none the less.
Sue Edworthy Arts Planning is fortunate enough to be able to make changes to somewhat suit the place we’re all living right now. If you or your organization are looking for planning or communications assistance, we can do that with and for you.
